Strong Hall, room 151

John Augusto directs the Center for Civic and Social Responsibility and the Center for Undergraduate Research. In this role, he works with KU students, faculty and staff on two key parts of the KU mission: research and service. He also oversees the Leadership Engagement Certificate here at KU. His interest in Leadership Studies is a combination of working in community development, helping students apply the theories of leadership development in their communities and wanting to contribute to the study and practice of leadership at KU.

John teaches in the Leadership Studies Minor because he wants students to learn the theory and practice of leadership. Class discussions within Leadership Studies energize him.
