Learning Outcomes for the Leadership Studies Minor

  1. Understand Adaptive Leadership theory as a guiding paradigm for problem solving and creating change. 
  2. Develop and apply critical leadership skills and tools through the lens of the Kansas Leadership Center (KLC) Competencies. 
  3. Practice leadership theory and skills through civic and community involvement. 
  4. Recognize a variety of ethical perspectives to enact thoughtful, intentional, and responsible leadership behaviors. 
  5. Embrace and promote the exploration of diverse perspectives and identities to engage in leadership work that encourages self and community to thrive.
