Biography

Ray Pence has presented the following papers: "Idealistic Bureaucrats: Mary Elizabeth Switzer, Joseph LaRocca, and Vocational Rehabilitation in the 1950s" (MAASA Conference, March 26-27, 2010, Lawrence, KS) and "Uncomfortable in Our Own Skin: Psoriasis, Psoriatic Arthritis, and Side Effects of Marketing Enbrel and Humira" (Western Social Sciences Association Conference, April 14-17, 2010, Reno, NV). April 26, 2010, at the 2010 KU Jayhawk Senior and Scholar Athlete Banquet, he received an Outstanding Service Award for his 12 years as a tutor for KU student athletes.
